Travelling into Glasgow from the airport
From Glasgow Airport: The best way to get to the centre of Glasgow is by bus number 905 from outside the main terminal. There is one at least every 30 minutes (every 10 minutes at peak times, Monday-Friday) and the journey takes 20-35 minutes depending on traffic. You can buy a return ticket, valid for one month, from the driver and it costs £5.00. A single ticket is £3.50. The bus stops near some of the larger hotels, at Queen Street Station and at Buchanan Bus Station. Taxis from the airport are available, but are fairly expensive because the airport is outside the Glasgow boundary. A journey into the centre of Glasgow should cost about £20.
From Prestwick Airport: There is a train approximately every 20 minutes during the day from Prestwick Airport to Glasgow Central Station and the journey time is about 50 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on the train - a single ticket is £5.20. If you've flown with Ryan Air, show a print-out of your booking for a 50% discount.
From Edinburgh Airport: Bus number 100 will take you to Waverly Bridge, near Edinburgh's main railway station. A single ticket costs £3.00 and a return is £5.00. Tickets can be bought on the bus, which leaves every 10 minutes at peak times and every 30 minutes through the night. The journey time is approximately 25 minutes. From Edinburgh Waverly Station there is a train to Glasgow Queen Street Station every 15 minutes during the day. The journey time is around 50 minutes and a single ticket costs £5.20.

From your hotel: We will be operating an accessible bus service for delegates staying at the following hotels: Premier Lodge Glasgow City Centre, Thistle Glasgow, Quality Hotel Central, Carlton George Hotel, Millennium Hotel Glasgow and Glasgow City Travel Inn Metro. The bus will pick up delegates each morning before the start of the conference day and return delegates to their hotels at the end of the day. A timetable will be made available closer to the time of the conference.
